About Our College Welcome from the Principal, Gail Young I am delighted to welcome you to our redesigned website. I hope this gives you a real insight into life at our college. You will be aware that there have been a number of changes since my arrival at the Vale. What have not changed, however, are the high expectations that we have of our students in every aspect of their college lives and our tremendously positive ethos.

What we expect “We expect our students to aspire to be the best that they can be, achieve the best possible results, be caring and considerate, responsible and committed as well as loyal to each other and to the college.”

Our Aims The aim of the college, as well as to educate our students to the highest possible standards, is to offer many and varied extra-curricular activities both within college and on our various trips and visits. When you read our prospectus and the 'Vale Views' you will become aware of just how much is on offer to our students, not only through our Technology and Music specialisms, but through many other subject areas. It will also become clear how deserving the students are. I am regularly made immensely proud when hotel staff, theatre staff and the general public comment on their excellent manners and behaviour.
